The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
